Thank you for joining us for the VII Newborn Symposium and for helping make this year’s event such a success. We’re grateful for your engagement, feedback, and ongoing commitment to newborn care.
See you in 2027!
The Newborn Symposium is hosted every two years by the Division of Neonatology in collaboration with the Department of Pediatrics at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Now in its seventh year, the symposium brings together healthcare professionals from across the Maritimes for a full day of knowledge sharing, professional development, and meaningful dialogue centred on the care of newborns and their families.
Held in November in recognition of National Child Day and World Prematurity Day, the event highlights the importance of early life care and neonatal outcomes through a multidisciplinary lens. From cutting-edge research to real-world clinical practices, the symposium offers a carefully curated agenda that features expert speakers, and a space for collaborative learning.
With a focus on Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, Family-Centered Care, and interdisciplinary teamwork, the Newborn Symposium is the only event of its kind in the region - serving as a vital platform for providers to stay current, build connections, and advocate for newborn health.
